The Falle vault

Deposit USDG and every Falle market is backed by it. Depositors keep the trading fees and the funding the vault collects, and carry the other side of trader profit and loss.

Until the vault contract is deployed this page runs the practice vault: same cooldown, window and reserve rules, practice dollars.

Queued shares stop earning. A redemption is refused while it would leave reserved profit above 80% of what stays in the vault; queue less or wait for positions to close.

Yield and risks

Where the return comes from
  • Trading fees. Every open and close pays a taker fee on notional: 6 bps on ETH and BTC, 10 bps on stocks, 15 bps on coins. All of it stays in the vault.
  • Funding. When one side outweighs the other it pays funding in proportion to the skew, and the vault holds the opposite exposure.
  • Trader losses. Margin given up on a losing close or a liquidation stays in the vault.
  • No cut. The contract has no treasury fee and no admin key; everything above accrues to share holders.
What can go wrong
  • Traders win. A strong move with a one-sided book shows straight up in the share price. Payouts are reserved up front, but they come out of NAV.
  • Prices get pushed. Worst-of fills, the pump guard and depth caps make bending a pool expensive, not impossible.
  • Exits wait. A one-hour cooldown, and no redemption that would leave open positions under-reserved.
  • Contract risk. No admin key, pause switch or upgrade path, so a bug could not be patched in place once deployed.

Formulas for NAV, caps and redemption are in the docs; the full risk list is under risks.
